ВІДЕОMPs dismiss Justice Minister Malyuska with applause

At a meeting on 4 September, members of the Verkhovna Rada supported the resignation of Justice Minister Denys Malyuska. This was reported by Komersant ukrainskyi citing MP Oleksiy Honcharenko on Telegram.

The former minister delivered a report to the Rada.

“Malyuska came to the Rada. Another minister who came to speak! There is a flurry of applause here,” Goncharenko said.

Malyuska’s dismissal was supported by 249 MPs.

According to the source [Kommersant], Olga Stefanishyna, who was dismissed today, may be appointed to head the Ministry of Justice instead of Denys Malyuska.

Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed Minister for Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshyn.

Justice Minister Denys Malyuska, Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Ruslan Strilets, and Head of the State Property Fund Vitaliy Koval have also written letters of resignation.

Information from Kommersant Ukrainskiy’s sources about the dismissal of Rostyslav Shurma, deputy head of the Presidential Office, was confirmed. On 3 September, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Rostyslav Shurma from his post.

The head of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction , David Arakhamia, announced a major Cabinet reset this week.
