Sumy region bans traffic on border roads: list

Sumy region has banned car traffic on road sections within a 5-kilometre strip from the border with Russia, the with reference to the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
“Pursuant to the order of the commander of the operational and strategic group “North” and in order to prevent losses among the civilian population, the movement of civilian vehicles in the 5-km strip from the state border of Ukraine is prohibited in the border area of Sumy region,” the statement said,

- Iskryskivshchyna – Volfine – Shpil – Pavlivka;
- Pavlivka – Katerynivka – Obody;
- Obody – Stepne – First of May;
- Stepne – Pervoe May – Kostiantynivka;
- Kondrativka – Andriivka;
- Andriivka – Oleksiivka;
- Bilovody – Vodolahy – Novomykolaivka;
- Myropillia – Myropilske;
- Myropilske – Prokhody – Turya;
- Myropillia – Myropilske – Velykyi Prykil;
- Turya – Stepok;
- Ugroids – Stepok;
- Mykhailivske – Stepok;
- Pokrovske – Stepok;
- Pokrovka – Mykhailivka;

Traffic restrictions on other roads
On the rest of the roads, civilian traffic within a 5-km zone from the state border is recommended:
- from 8.00 to 17.00 until May 2024;
- from 7.00 to 20.00 from June to October 2024.
