Ukrainians have about UAH 1.4 trillion in their accounts

As of April 1, 2025, the total amount of individual deposits in Ukrainian banks reached UAH 1,392.8 billion. This is reported by the Deposit Guarantee Fund, "Komersant Ukrainian" informs
Of the total amount of deposits of individuals as of April 1, 2025: deposits in national currency amounted to UAH 892.8 billion; deposits in foreign currency – UAH 500.0 billion.
As of April 1, 2025, the share of individual entrepreneurs in the structure of depositors was 3.2%, and in the structure of the amount of deposits – 11.2%. Their deposits totaled UAH 156.6 billion.

As a reminder, starting from April 13, 2022, the day the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine on Ensuring Stability of the Deposit Guarantee System” comes into force, 100% guarantees apply to deposits of individuals (including individual entrepreneurs) in Ukrainian banks for the duration of martial law in Ukraine and for three months after its cancellation or termination. After three months from the date of lifting or termination of martial law, the maximum amount of guaranteed compensation for depositors of Ukrainian banks will be UAH 600 thousand.
