Milovanov wants to buy Mohylianka from the Ministry of Education like Trump wants to buy Greenland

The president of the Kyiv School of Economics, Timofey Milovanov, half-jokingly suggested that the Ministry of Education and Science sell the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. Milovanov wrote about it on his Facebook page, Komersant ukrainskyi reports
Milovanov says that KSE will be able to manage the private educational fund more effectively than the state.
“In order to convince everyone that Mohylianka is in excellent condition, as well as to increase its greatness and influence, as well as the consequences of the decision of the recent congresses of the Communist Party of America (crossed out) strategic ideas of the new President Trump, on the example of Greenland, I propose that KSE buy Mohylianka from the MOE,” he wrote.
According to him, for the Ministry of Education Mohyla Academy is unprofitable, and the Kyiv School of Economics “will be able to manage Mohylanka more effectively, as a private educational foundation, and the state’s losses will decrease.”
“Win win, as they say, everyone will win,” Milovanov noted.
According to the former economy minister, if KSE buys Mohylianka, “conditions for students will not worsen, but improve.”
“If you think I’m bitching like Trump, I’m not! Just like Trump seriously wants to buy Greenland, I seriously want to buy Mohylianka,” the former economy minister added.
In comments to the post Milovanov said that he will open the collection for the purchase of Mogilyanka on Monday, January 13.
Recall, US President-elect Donald Trump made a proposal to buy Greenland, which is part of Denmark. In 2019, during his first cadence, Trump already offered to buy Greenland.
