The owner of the Indposhiv clothing brand Kateryna Vozianova, whose services were used by the President of Ukraine himself, believes that it is time for Volodymyr Zelenskyy to change his military-style clothes to a classic suit. Vozianova wrote about this on her page on the social network Instagram, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.
She drew attention to a photo in which the winner of the US presidential election, Donald Trump, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy are standing next to each other. In the photo, Trump is wearing a blue business suit with a white shirt, which he complemented with a yellow tie. The French leader chose a black suit with a matching tie and white shirt to meet with his colleagues. Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on the other hand, preferred his usual style from February 2022. The Ukrainian president wore a black sweater, similar to the clothes worn by the Ukrainian military, black pants and military-style shoes.

Kateryna Vozianova believes that any outfit worn by the “first face of the country” is a message that has a purpose and a target audience.
“We all remember February 2022 and how Volodymyr Oleksandrovych’s style changed overnight. He told the whole world with his appearance: “We are in a full-scale war.” At the same time, he was telling Ukrainians: “I am with you”. It was so powerful, so relevant and so effective that his support rating was sky-high,” wrote the owner of the clothing brand Indposhiv.
At the same time, she noted that at the end of 2024, the tasks for the president’s costume had changed somewhat.
“It’s still important for Ukrainians that the president is ‘along with us,’ but it’s much more important for Ukrainians that the support of foreign partners grows, without which we will obviously not come closer to victory. Therefore, the main thing now is to “become one of our own” not for Ukrainians, but for decision-makers there. That is why, in my personal opinion, such events require a classic (in terms of form) suit,” Vozianova said.
At the same time, she believes that the message that Ukraine is still at war can be demonstrated in detail: the color of the suit, the color of the shirt, the print on the lining, and the use of accessories.
“That’s why I dream of seeing our president in a classic suit in the near future,” summarized Kateryna Vozianova.
Earlier, Donald Trump’s adviser criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy ‘s outfit during the opening of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.
“Can’t he afford a suit? At the World Economic Forum, he wore a suit and tie, but to speak to the US Congress or meet with the US president-elect, he decided to wear a hoodie? It looks like disrespect,” said Roger Stone.
