Wet snow and rain: weather forecast for November 13

Starting today, November 13, the weather is expected to deteriorate in Ukraine. Wet snow and freezing rain are predicted in the western, Zhytomyr and Vinnytsia regions. This was reported by weather forecaster Natalia Didenko, Komersant ukrainskyi reports
The air temperature in most regions of Ukraine will be from 2 degrees below zero to 3 degrees Celsius at night on November 12, and 1…4 degrees during the day on Wednesday. Wet snow or freezing rain is most likely in the western regions of Ukraine, Zhytomyr and Vinnytsia regions.
“If you haven’t changed your tires for winter tires yet, hurry up, because due to the low air temperature, the expected precipitation may fall in the form of sleet or freezing rain. And you know what can be the consequences of neglecting such seasonal car traditions,” Natalka Didenko advised drivers.
On November 13, the rest of Ukraine will have mostly rain or just dense clouds. In the southern part, the temperature is expected to reach 3-5 degrees at night and 5-9 degrees during the day. In Kyiv, on November 13, the weather will be cloudy and humid, but no serious precipitation is expected. At night, 1 degree, during the day 4 degrees.
According to the UkrainianHydrometeorological Center, on November 13, cloudy weather with atmospheric front changes characteristic of autumn is expected in Ukraine.
In the western regions, as well as in Zhytomyr and Vinnytsia, precipitation in the form of wet snow is possible. Drivers should therefore be careful due to icy conditions on the roads.
Ice is forecast in Zakarpattia and the Carpathians, which may also complicate the road situation in the mountainous regions. The wind in these regions will be westerly, with a speed of 5-10 m/s. The air temperature will range from 2° Celsius to 3° Celsius throughout the day, with colder conditions in the Carpathians with temperatures ranging from 0 to 5° Celsius.
In the rest of the country, the night will be without precipitation, but in the afternoon in most regions there may be light rain. The wind will prevail from the southeast, 5-10 m/s.
The temperature will remain within the range of 3° C to 2° C at night and 1-6° C during the day. In the southern regions, night temperatures will be higher – from 0 to 5° Celsius, during the day the air will warm up to 4-9° Celsius.
