Wet snow and ice: weather forecast for November 14

Today, November 14, weather forecasters are predicting a deterioration in the weather. In particular, the first snow is possible in Kyiv. However, it will be wet, so drivers should be careful on the roads. This was reported by weather forecaster Natalia Didenko, Komersant ukrainskyi reports
“It looks like Kyiv will have its first snow today. There have been a couple of white flies recently, but it seems to have been an imagination. The snow is expected to be wet, but still a meteorological novelty. So, dear drivers, do not joke with safety, this is not the right time. The temperature in the capital will be around zero at night and 2-3 degrees during the day,” the forecaster wrote.
In Ukraine, on November 14, sleet, sometimes ice and slush build-up are likely in the northern, central and eastern regions. In the west, tomorrow it will be mostly dense clouds. In the south, it will be mostly rain. Air temperature at night will be around zero, during the day 1…3 degrees, in the south 5…9 degrees.
According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, today, November 14, Ukraine is expected to have cloudy weather with various types of precipitation and temperature fluctuations across the regions.
Light rain is expected in the southern part of the country. Fog is possible at night and in the morning, which may reduce visibility on the roads. The air temperature at night will fluctuate between 0-5° Celsius, and during the day it will rise to 4-9° Celsius. In Crimea, the maximum daytime temperature will reach 12°C, slightly higher than the average for November.
In most of Ukraine, forecasters predict light precipitation, mostly in the form of sleet. However, in the Carpathian and Transcarpathian regions, there will be no precipitation during the day. The temperature at night will range from 3° Celsius to 2° Celsius, while during the day the thermometer will show 0-5° Celsius.
In the Carpathian region, light snow is expected at night, but the weather will be mostly dry during the day. Temperatures will drop to 1-6° below zero at night and around 0° during the day, creating a feeling of a cold, wintry climate in the mountains.
In the west of the country, the situation on the roads may be complicated due to ice. Light precipitation is expected in most of the western regions.
Throughout the day, the wind will be southwest and westerly, with a force of 3-8 m/s, which will provide moderate gusts of wind, but will have little effect on weather conditions in the country.
