The Shlyakh system has been disconnected from 10 carriers for systematic violations of the rules for crossing the state border by persons liable for military service. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Komersant ukrainskyi reports
The Commission for the termination of licensees’ access to the Unified Complex of Information Systems of Ukrtransbezpeka decided to disconnect the following carriers from the SHLYakh System for three months:
- FOP Stadnyk Valeriy Oleksiyovych
- Solianyk Liudmyla Volodymyrivna
- Stepan Postilha, private entrepreneur
- FOP Ponomarenko Vitalii Anatoliiovych
- FOP Lokatkina Kateryna Volodymyrivna
- Levko Mykhailo Vasylovych
- Ihor Volodymyrovych Zhyhalenko
- Ihor Dmytrovych Vitenko
- DM-TLC LLC
- GOOD CARS LLC.
According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, these carriers were involved in organising channels for smuggling men of military age across the state border during the period of martial law. The persons who were organised to travel outside Ukraine as drivers of road transport did not return to Ukraine within 60 days, thus violating the established rules for crossing the state border.
Dozens of other cases of abuse of data entry into the System have been submitted to the Commission. After verifying the information, a decision will be made on each case.
It is worth noting that Ukrainian truckers who leave their trucks abroad and do not return home for fear of being mobilised are being equated with kidnappers.
Recently, there has been an increase in the number of cases where drivers of international routes, having received a temporary legal right to travel abroad under the Shlyakh system, deliberately do not return home, leaving company trucks to fend for themselves. This is how they avoid mobilisation.
This creates significant difficulties for transport companies, as they need to find a new driver to return the truck. In addition, companies whose drivers do not return to Ukraine are blocked in the Shlyakh system, making it impossible to send new trips abroad.
