The guide contains information covering four key areas:

  • psychological assistance
  • restoration of documents
  • registration and renewal of payments;
  • medical examination and treatment.

“We have prepared handy cards with step-by-step instructions to help the discharged military to reintegrate. The guidebook explains how to get medical care, restore documents, apply for payments and use social support,” said Colonel Oleksandr Kutkov, Head of the Central Department of Civil-Military Cooperation of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The publication also contains contacts of volunteer and public organizations that provide legal, medical and psychological assistance.

The printed version of the guide will be handed out immediately after the release from captivity, and an electronic version is also available.
