Polish Defence Minister Władysław Kosyniak-Kamysz admits the possibility of a Russian attack on NATO if Ukraine loses the war. He said this in an interview with Wieczorny Express, answering a journalist’s question about Russia’s possible aggression against Poland and NATO countries, reports

“I assume any scenario, and I take the worst one most seriously. This is the role of the Minister of Defence in the situation we find ourselves in today. These are not words thrown to the wind. I try to weigh them very carefully, especially since I became the Minister of Defence. The situation in the world is very serious. It’s not just Ukraine, it’s also the Red Sea and the Pacific Ocean. We need to be prepared for every scenario, so we conduct audits, draw conclusions, and fill in the gaps, for example, in terms of weapons,”

– Kosyniak-Kamysh said.

He noted that the situation is indeed very serious, and more and more countries are feeling it.

“We cannot get used to the war, we cannot forget about it. The situation is very serious indeed, and more and more countries are feeling it. On Thursday, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of Denmark visited Poland. We signed a memorandum on closer cooperation. For example, the Danes are donating 19 F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. More and more countries are getting involved in this assistance, but it needs to be even more intensive. This is a matter of our security,”

– stressed the Polish Defence Minister.

Earlier, Dutch Admiral Rob Bauer, Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, said that the West should be prepared for a war with Russia . According to him, it is not only about NATO armies, which are certainly ready for this, but also about the civilian population
