Minister of Finance is under threat of resignation: the resolution is already in the Parliament

The Verkhovna Rada has adopted Resolution No. 13343 on the dismissal of Sergiy Marchenko from the post of Minister of Finance of Ukraine. It was initiated by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak of the Voice faction. The MP announced this in Telegram, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

“The main reason is the complete open sabotage of the customs reform and the violation of the law on the launch of a transparent competition for the head of the Customs for 5 months,” Zheleznyak wrote.

The MP noted that for the second year in a row, “the deadlines for submitting the Budget Declaration have been violated.” In particular, he emphasized the “systematic problems with budget financing”.

In addition, Zheleznyak cited Marchenko’s approval of all the “populist budget wishes” of the President’s office as one of the reasons for the resolution. As an example, he cited the National Cashback, financing of the marathon, distribution of “Zelensky’s thousand” and the purchase of nuclear reactors.

“After 5 years and 2 months in office, this is another example that with the current system, any person in the middle loses his or her principles. They silently agree with any commands of the Presidential Administration, including those that are openly corrupt,” the MP explained.

The MP also pointed out that the minister had removed himself from his duties and outsourced all financial departments of the ministry to the OP.
