The Ministry of Finance postpones the transition to a new form of fiscal checks

The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine has extended the transitional period for the introduction of new requirements for the form and content of payment documents until March 1, 2025. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry, Komersant ukrainskyi informs.
Until then, it is allowed to issue checks in the old form. At the same time, companies have the right to introduce new forms of fiscal checks by the specified date, but this is not mandatory.
It is worth noting that this refers to the order of the Ministry of Finance No. 601 dated 11/22/2024, which amends the form and content of fiscal checks. The document was developed and approved by the relevant ministry during the year.
As a reminder, the new form of checks was to be introduced on January 1, 2025, in accordance with the relevant order of the Ministry of Finance.
Earlier, MP Nina Yuzhanina emphasized that after January 1, 2025, if a fiscal check is issued in the old form, such a check will not be considered a payment document and the merchant may be fined 100% of the value of the goods sold with violations. However, this system will now only become operational on March 1.
