The Ministry of Economy has updated the list of cars subject to the “luxury tax”

The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine has published an updated list of car models whose owners must pay transport tax. The relevant list of models is available on the website of the Ministry of Economy, reports 
The list includes models of the following brands: Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Cadillac, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lexus, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Rivian, Tesla.
To own such a car, its owner must pay UAH 25,000 to the state treasury.
This year’s list includes 184 models, almost half as many as last year, when the list included 360 models. The list is not compiled manually – it automatically includes cars up to 5 years old and costing at least 375 monthly minimum wages. Currently, the monthly minimum wage in Ukraine is UAH 7100. Thus, the “luxury tax” applies to cars costing more than UAH 2 million 662 thousand 500.
