On the night of January 22, unknown hackers attacked the International Food and Agricultural Technology Company. This was reported by Komersant ukrainskyi, citing information on MHP’s official Facebook page.

The company says that this is the largest attack in the history of MHP.

Part of the IT infrastructure is currently down, so shipments of products are limited.

“MHP enterprises continue to operate, but with changes in processes. The Myasomarket and Ezha Svezha stores and Doner Market outlets are open and continue to serve customers,” the statement said.

It should be noted that MHP is an international food and agro-technology and retail company headquartered in Kyiv with production facilities in Ukraine and the Balkans (Perutnina Ptuj Group). MHP’s subsidiaries operate in the UK, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, the Balkan countries and other EU countries.

MHP unites more than 32 thousand employees in Ukraine and abroad, and is one of the top 10 employers in Ukraine according to Forbes.

The company’s exports cover more than 70 countries.

In 2008, MHP became the first Ukrainian agricultural company to raise foreign equity capital in an IPO on the London Stock Exchange. The company’s shares are traded under the ticker symbol MHPC.
