McDonald’s brings back breakfast: where and when you can taste it

The McDonald’s restaurant chain is launching a test format to bring back the morning menu and update a number of dishes on December 4. However, this will not apply to all restaurants, but only to one city. This was reported by the company’s press service, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.

McDonald’s restaurants in Vinnytsia have launched a morning menu in a test format as of today, December 4.

“We sincerely hope that the test will be successful and that you will be able to order breakfast in your city as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding,” the statement reads.

The decision to test the morning menu was made in Vinnytsia due to several operational factors, including the optimal number of restaurants in the city and the flow of customers.

The decision to return breakfast to the menu on a permanent basis and launch it in other cities will be made after the test.

It should be noted that breakfast lovers have been waiting for their return for a long time, but in the summer of 2024, Martin Trope, Marketing Director of the restaurant chain in Ukraine, noted that it is still difficult to implement, since if in the event of a prolonged air raid, the products prepared for the breakfast menu are not used, they will have to be written off as waste, which will be a significant loss for the business.

According to NV.Business, the new menu will be offered to guests of the chain’s Vinnytsia restaurants for several months. Guests will be able to order breakfast every day from the moment the restaurant opens until 10:30.

How the McDonald’s menu has changed in Vinnytsia

The company reported that more than half of the ingredients (54%) used to make the dishes are Ukrainian. About 60% of them are supplied by local companies.

Since the first day of the test in Vinnytsia, customers have been able to order updated menu items, including: “McMuffin with different fillings; rolls with egg and chicken, egg and pork, or egg, pork and bacon; toast with cheese and cheese and bacon.

In addition, the menu has new items: “Double Chicken Fresh McMuffin, as well as Morning McMenus (McMuffin, roll or toast; with potato chips or fries; cold or hot drink).

While the breakfast menu is available, the main menu includes potatoes, desserts, nuggets, strips and camembert; Happy Meal with nuggets or toast with cheese; oatmeal, and drinks.
