Musk topped the list of the world’s richest people

American entrepreneur Elon Musk has topped the Forbes list of the world’s richest people, with an estimated net worth of $342 billion.
Forbes published the rating on its website, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.
Musk is the co-founder of seven companies, including electric car manufacturer Tesla, rocket manufacturer SpaceX, and artificial intelligence startup xAI (to which Musk recently resold the X social network).
Mark Zuckerberg, who owns the Meta company (owner of Instagram and Facebook), is in second place. His net worth is $216 billion.
The third position was taken by Amazon owner Jeff Bezos with a net worth of $215 billion.
The top ten richest also included:
- Larry Ellison, co-founder of the software development company Oracle – $192 billion;
- Bernard Arnault, CEO of Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy (LVMH) – $178 billion;
- Warren Buffett, investor, founder of the Berkshire Hathaway holding company – $154 billion;
- Larry Page, CEO of Alphabet, the parent company of Google – $144 billion;
- Sergey Brin, co-founder of Google – $138 billion;
- Amancio Ortega, founder and former president of the Inditex business group – $124 billion;
- Steve Ballmer, former CEO of Microsoft – $118 billion.
There are no women in the top ten.
The richest woman, according to Forbes, is Alice Walton , the daughter of the founders of the Walmart chain. She is worth $101 billion and is ranked 15th.
