8 November 08:36

The Manifesto 42 civic movement has accused the Bureau of Economic Security (BES) of blocking the activities of two more Ukrainian companies, MD ALLIANCE GROUP LLC and MD EUROTRADE LLC. According to the movement’s representatives, BES employees have been creating obstacles to their legitimate activities for more than a year, which is a violation of the right to entrepreneurship guaranteed by the Constitution of Ukraine, reports Komersant ukrainskyi

“For a whole year, the BES has been conducting searches at the above-mentioned enterprises without any grounds, seizing documents, summoning employees for interrogation, and sending a huge number of meaningless requests to the companies’ counterparties. Currently, the activities of MD ALLIANCE GROUP LLC and MD EUROTRADE LLC are completely blocked due to the seizure of the companies’ accounts. Such actions make business activities completely impossible and may lead to bankruptcy,”

– the statement reads.

According to Manifesto 42, the decision to arrest was made without a forensic examination, on the basis of a so-called “analytical product” that has no legal force to qualify possible offenses.

“Manifesto 42 has declared its readiness to defend the company by all available legal means.
