Ukrainian high jumper Yaroslava Maguchikh has won a silver medal at the 2024 World Indoor Athletics Championships, which have started in Glasgow, Scotland, Kommersant Ukrainian reports

Another Ukrainian, Yulia Levchenko, took 9th place in the final with a mark of 1.84 metres.
This is Jaroslawa’s second career medal at the World Indoor Championships – in 2022, she won gold at the World Championships in Belgrade.
“Silver” Maguchikh’s silver medal is Ukraine’s first at the 2024 World Indoor Championships.
It should be noted that on 1 February, Ukrainian athlete Yaroslava Maguchikh set a new season’s best result in the world in the high jump – 2.04 m.
