The batch of “Lviv Christmas” beer is recalled from sale and asked not to consume it

PJSC “Carlsberg Ukraine” recalled from the market a batch of dark pasteurized beer “Lvivske Rozhdestvenske” in glass bottles with a unit volume of 0.5 liters according to the batch number, which coincides with the production date 03.10.24. This is reported on the website of the State Consumer Service, informs Komersant ukrainskyi

The manufacturer recalls a limited batch in glass containers from the supplier, in which during the internal inspection system by the company was found a defect in the glass solder between the sides of the bottle.

“Although this defect was not detected in the finished product batch during control inspections, the company believes it is necessary to withdraw the products in the specified packaging from sale,” the manufacturer said.

The company asked consumers to “do not open the bottle, do not consume the product and return it through the place of purchase, or call the manufacturer’s hotline 0800 3000 80” if the product with the production date 03.10.2024 09-12 h 18-19 h is detected.

Carlsberg Ukraine PJSC also stated that it informed its partners about its decision to stop selling the mentioned batch and recall it from circulation.

The company is now “taking corrective measures in accordance with Ukrainian legislation, internal procedures and quality standards.”
