Kyivstar has strengthened its expertise in cloud computing and cybersecurity by receiving important statuses from two international partners, Fortinet and Microsoft, which are solution providers in these areas. This was reported by the company’s press service, according to Komersant ukrainskyi.

Kyivstar received the Fortinet Select Partner status and confirmed four Microsoft Solutions Partner statuses in the following categories: Data & AI, Digital & App Innovation, Infrastructure, Modern Work.

The Fortinet Select Partner status confirms Kyivstar’s competence in cybersecurity and enables it to offer customers advanced solutions to protect networks, data and digital platforms using Fortinet technologies.

Microsoft Solutions Partner statuses prove that Kyivstar meets all Microsoft requirements for the implementation of cloud services, artificial intelligence solutions and digital technologies for business.

Kyivstar claims to be the only company in Ukraine that simultaneously has such a combination of competencies and confirmed partner statuses from both Fortinet and Microsoft. This enables the operator to implement an integrated approach to the implementation of hybrid and cloud solutions for business customers, ensuring a high level of cybersecurity.

“To obtain the Microsoft Solutions Partner and Fortinet Select Partner statuses, we have gained extensive expertise and successfully implemented projects in these areas. We strive to provide Ukrainian companies with the most advanced technological solutions that will contribute to their safe, efficient, and sustainable growth,”

– said Ilya Poltakov, Kyivstar’s Director of New Business Development.

After 2022, Ukrainian businesses will face a growing need for cloud solutions and cybersecurity tools. According to Kyivstar, the consumption of Microsoft Azure cloud services in Ukraine has increased almost 7 times in the two years since the start of the full-scale invasion. The Ukrainian cybersecurity market has shown fourfold growth over the past eight years and reached $138 million in 2024. The market is expected to grow by 50% over the next five years to $209 million.
