The Verkhovna Rada has received a letter of resignation from Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba. This was announced by Parliament Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk, Komersant ukrainskyi reports
“The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has received a letter of resignation from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba. The statement will be considered at one of the next plenary sessions,” Stefanchuk said and attached a screen of the statement.
The statement was written on 4 September. Kuleba did not specify the reason.
As a reminder, the day before, the media reported that Foreign Minister Kuleba was to be dismissed.
It was stated that the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal would keep his post.
As a reminder, resignations were written by Minister of Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin, Minister of Justice Denys Malyuska, Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Ruslan Strilets, and Head of the State Property Fund Vitaliy Koval.
The Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine,Olha Stefanishyna, also resigned. According to a Kommersant source, the Ukrainian Stefanishyna may take over the Ministry of Justice from Denys Malyuska, who also handed in his resignation today.
