Last night in Mykolaiv, a Fiat Doblo minivan and a Renault Master truck collided. The latter was carrying 2.5 tonnes of frozen dog carcasses. This was reported by Novin-N, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.
The publication notes that the truck did not give way to the Fiat car. After the collision, the heavy truck abruptly changed its trajectory and crashed into a pillar.
According to the accompanying documents, the destination was Odesa.
Later it turned out that the dogs were being transported for cremation. This cargo was transported under a contract with a crematorium in Odesa.
“After the accident, the tow truck took the car and the cargo, and it was redirected to its destination,” the police said.
At the same time, the police do not know who the owner of the cargo itself is, nor do they know where the owner got so many dead dog carcasses.
The driver of the Fiat Doblo and a passenger in the truck were injured in the accident.
