Reserve users need to update the application – the old version will not work

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has announced an update to the Reserve mobile application and urged users to install the new version. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Ministry of Defense.
The reason is the update of the security certificate, without which the old version is no longer supported.
The Ministry of Defense reported that with the release of 1.6.1, Reserve received a new security certificate, which increases the security and stability of the service.
“In release 1.6.1, the security certificate has been updated, which makes the program even more secure and reliable. To continue to successfully use your military account document and other services in the application, update the Reserve to the latest version,” the statement said.
The agency also noted that in the previous version 1.6.0, a warning will appear when you log in to the system, requiring you to update the application. In even older versions, the application will not work at all – messages about a technical error will appear.
You can update Reserve via the App Store or Google Play.
In addition, the Ministry of Defense recommends enabling automatic updates to ensure that you do not lose access to important features of the app.

- In the search, find “Backup”
- Click “Update”

- Open Google Play
- Search for “Backup” in the search
- Click “Update”

- Go to Settings
- Select Applications
- Find “Backup “
- Turn on Backup update
On Android:
- Open Google Play
- Find the “Backup” application
- Click the three dots in the upper right corner
- Activate the “Auto-update” option
