LUN Company Launches “Light Map 2.0”
16 December 08:49LUN has unveiled an updated version of the interactive Light Map, which shows places where you can work during power outages. This is reported by DOU, Komersant ukrainskyi informs.
You can view the new “Light Map 2.0” here.
What has changed in the Light Map?
The first version of the Light Map appeared in 2022. LUN noted that during this time it was used 2.5 million times. However, this version simply included establishments that were able to continue operating despite power outages.
The Light Map 2.0 now shows establishments that also allow others to work. More than 500 locations have been added to the map, including coworking spaces, cafes, shops, shopping malls, and gas stations. Each location has a description of available services: WiFi, power outlets, drinks, food, and conditions for working with your laptop.
The map also includes information about the price, number of available seats, and working hours at the selected locations. According to the map’s developers, large Ukrainian businesses such as Epicenter, OKKO and UPG gas stations have joined the initiative.
You can also add your business to the map. To do this, select the “Add location” function. To add a chain business to the map, you need to write to [email protected].
LUN also launched a map of Internet providers
The LUN City team together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation have created an interactive map of Ukrainian providers that are ready for power outages and can provide Internet for 4 to 72 hours. Previously, this map was available only for Kyiv residents, but the project has been scaled up to other cities, and providers can add information about their services.
This map allows you to
– check the provider’s readiness for power outages;
– find the nearest providers that provide Internet for 4 to 72 hours;
– find out the cost of connection and the monthly fee for Internet services;
– contact the provider and apply for a blackout-resistant Internet connection.
