Collectible coin for Valentine’s Day: The National Bank has released a limited edition

On the eve of Valentine’s Day, the National Bank is putting into circulation a commemorative coin “The Power of Love”. This was reported by the NBU press service to Komersant ukrainskyi.
The coin is made of 925 silver and has a face value of 10 hryvnias. The mintage is only 15,000 coins.
What the coin looks like
The obverse of the coin features a rose stylized in the form of a heart on a mirror background: a rose stylized in the form of a heart (local gilding element), with the word “love” inscribed in the graphic canvas in the most common languages of the world, emphasizing the universality and boundlessness of this feeling that knows no borders and language barriers; the small State Emblem of Ukraine, the inscription UKRAINE (the dots above the letter “e” are depicted in the form of a heart), the denomination of 10 and the graphic symbol of the hryvnia (above the rose); the inscription 20 / 25 (below).
The reverse has a golden heart in the center, from which the vibrations of sincere and all-encompassing love evenly emanate.
The design was created by a group of Kyiv artists – Volodymyr Taran, Oleksandr Haruk, and Serhii Haruk.
How to buy the coin
The Power of Love commemorative coin will be available for purchase starting February 12, 2025, at the NBU’s online numismatic store.
It will also be sold by distributing banks. They will announce the start of sales on their websites.
