Number of dead in Sumy increased to 9: search operations completed

In Sumy rescuers have completed emergency search operations at the site of the hit by an enemy UAV. The number of victims has increased to nine people. This was announced by the Minister of internal Affairs Igor Klymenko, informs Komersant ukrainskyi
According to Klimenko, rescue and search operations, which lasted 19 hours, are now complete. As noted in the city Council, the last unblocked the body of a man born in 1967.
Another 13 were injured, among them an 8-year-old girl.


Sumy regional Prosecutor’s office said that now 14, not 13 injured.
Among the dead: a 74-year-old man and his 69-year-old wife, a 65-year-old man and his 64-year-old wife, a 61-year-old man and his 61-year-old wife, as well as 64-year-old and 63-year-old men and a 37-year-old woman.
Two apartment buildings and more than 20 cars were also damaged.

“The police took 129 statements from local residents about the consequences of Russian shelling. The process of documenting the Russian war crime of a direct hit on civilians continues,” the rescuers added.
The mobile indestructibility point deployed by the rescuers continues to work around the clock.
