The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the regulations on the Arkan system. What is known?

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the Regulation on the Arkan information and communication system. The document defines the main tasks, structure and functioning of the system.
This was announced by the government’s permanent representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.
“The Regulation on the integrated interagency information and communication system for the control of persons, vehicles and goods crossing the state border has been approved. The Regulation defines the main tasks, structure and procedure for the functioning of the integrated interagency information and communication system for the control of persons, vehicles and goods crossing the state border (Arkan system),” Melnychuk said.
“Arkan is an integrated interagency automated information exchange system for the control of persons, vehicles and cargo crossing the state border.
The participants of the Arkan system are the Administration of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the State Fiscal Service, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of Ukraine.
