At its meeting on 2 August, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appointed Andriy Teliupa as Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine. This was reported by the government’s representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, Komersant ukrainskyi reports
“The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine: Andriy Volodymyrovych Teliupa has been appointed Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine,” the statement reads.
According to the NBU website, since January 2022, Andriy Teliupa has been the Director of the Procurement Department of the National Bank of Ukraine. Prior to joining the NBU, he headed the Procurement Transformation Office at Ukrzaliznytsia since 2020. In 2017-2020, he was a reform project manager at the Reform Support Team of the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine.
In particular, following an open competitive selection process, Andrii Teliupa was appointed Director of the Procurement Department of the National Bank of Ukraine on 11 January 2022.
Prior to joining the NBU, Andrii Teliupa headed the Procurement Transformation Office at Ukrzaliznytsia JSC since 2020.
From October 2017 to May 2020, he worked as a reform project manager at the Reform Support Team of the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine. He has more than 18 years of experience in procurement in the chemical, automotive, food, foreign trade and public sectors.
Andrii Teliupa graduated from Zaporizhzhia Institute of Economics and Information Technologies in 2004 with a degree in International Economics and a minor in Translation (English and German).
In 2017, he graduated from the International Institute of Management (MIM-Kyiv) with an MBA in Public Administration.
It is worth noting that today, the former First Deputy Minister of Energy Yuriy Vlasenko has become the Chairman of the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NEURC).
