A ring for the heart, artificial intelligence for the body, an electronic spoon for salt – all this is at CES 2025

CES is a “tech showcase, so you can’t buy all these products at once, but they give us a glimpse of what’s coming later in 2025, so you can start saving now.” Techradar shares this conclusion and presents the latest exhibition news. As reported by Komersant ukrainskyi.

Smart ring

“If you’ve decided that 2025 will be the year you finally get a smart ring, the new Circular Ring 2 could be one of the contenders,” Techradar notes.

In fact, Circular Ring 2 offers two new intriguing features.

First, it uses an app to calculate the size of your ring, which should mean an end to those clunky plastic sizing kits. In addition, the smart ring also has an atrial fibrillation detection algorithm approved by the US Food and Drug Administration.

Circular Ring 2 production will soon be launched as part of a crowdfunding campaign and is expected to cost $380, with delivery starting in March.

An intelligent exercise machine

Amp Fitness is not just an exercise machine, Techradar states, but a whole system based on artificial intelligence that adapts workouts in real time.

A highly adjustable cable machine with a camera and an app, the amp, attached to a wall in your home, adapts workouts in real time.

With workouts, challenges, and leaderboards, Amp Fitness will help you take important steps toward your dream. The machine is already available for pre-order for $1,795.

Intelligent mirror

You can’t see the real Withings Omnia smart mirror at the exhibition yet, as it is only a concept. But, as Techradar notes, it creates a convincing picture of where medical technology is headed.

Since this AI-powered smart mirror is connected to other Withings gadgets, it promises to give you a complete assessment of your health.

In theory, Omnia should be able to provide feedback on almost anything related to your heart health and display statistics on the screen along with feedback from an AI assistant.

Electronic spoon

Kirin Holdings, a Japanese company known for the production of beverages, presented an innovative electronic salt spoon at the CES 2025 consumer electronics exhibition. As Gadinsider explains, it is designed to improve the taste of food without the need to add another portion of salt.

The Kirin electronic salt spoon was initially released in Japan in 2024 in a limited edition for about £100. The company now plans to expand its distribution worldwide.

The company explains that the electronic salt spoon uses a weak electric current to concentrate sodium ions in food and thus enhances salty flavors in low-sodium dishes.

The researchers behind the technology originally published their findings in 2011 and have since developed many utensils, including spoons, forks and chopsticks, that use electric currents to enhance the flavor of food.

This innovation is especially relevant in Japan, where adults consume twice the amount of salt per day recommended by the World Health Organization. Excessive salt consumption is known to lead to health problems such as high blood pressure and strokes.
