Information about mobile checkpoints with summonses is not true – statements

The information that mobile checkpoints have allegedly appeared in Ukraine, where summonses are issued, is not true. This is reported by the Centre for Strategic Communications and Information Security, which operates under the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, reports .
Ukraine has developed a map with the location of mobile checkpoints where summonses are distributed. A video with this message is being shared on TikTok. However, the video was created with the help of artificial intelligence, according to the Centre.
“Firstly, the host’s facial expressions do not match the words he says. Secondly, the video contains footage from TSN and Espresso, but there is no information about mobile checkpoints with subpoenas on their resources. Third, the map actually shows grocery stores that were open on 1 March 2022. That is, there are marks even in the temporarily occupied territories, which is absurd, because Ukraine, unfortunately, has no control over them,”
– the Centre said in a statement.
The fact-checkers also note that at the end of the video, the authors urge to follow the link in the profile header, which leads to an anonymous news channel. This is another way to lure subscribers to a dubious Telegram channel.
