Ideas of rebirth and cyclical nature of the universe: Nadya Dzyak to present FW25/26 collection
11 February 09:56
Ukrainian brand Nadya Dzyak will present its new FW25/26 collection on February 14. The show is expected to be a real event in the fashion world, as the designer traditionally combines elegance, modern trends and her signature pleating technique, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.
The guests of the event will be able to see the embodiment of the ideas of rebirth and cyclicality of the universe in the exclusive design solutions of the collection.
The circle is the original form of the universe, symbolizing the continuous movement of time, the cyclical nature of life and the transmission of knowledge from generation to generation. This idea formed the basis of the new Nadya Dzyak FW25/26 collection, where every detail is a reflection of traditions that take on new forms and meanings.
“Even in a state of total internal darkness, the brand’s production in Dnipro continues its work and passionate lust for life. Through creativity, we are looking for and regaining our balance and firm faith. And often we are inspired and guided by ordinary people,” Nadia Dziak says.
One day, the designer met her grandmother Valentyna near the studio, who was selling colorful round rugs woven by herself. Upon getting to know her better, Nadia learned that the woman had moved to Dnipro from Bakhmut and was creating these items the way she had learned in her youth to support herself and her sick son. Her works are naïve, but fascinate with non-trivial color combinations and seem to reflect the whole universe.

“It just happens – my hand combines these colors and puts them into circles,” says Valentyna.
“When I lay out my multi-colored transparent flounces, the universe guides my hand, just as it guides Valentyna’s grandmother’s hand when she weaves and combines her bright circles. I believe that our descendants speak to us through them. A separate block of products in the new collection is dedicated to the work of Mrs. Valentina from Bakhmut,” comments Nadia Dzyak.
In the FW25/26 collection, the designer uses matter as a medium to embody these ideas – colocentric shapes in sketches, weightless organza in graceful circles and geometric curls, as if repeating an ancient rite. The collection is centered on dresses and skirts decorated with intersecting dynamic flounces in the form of circles that hold their shape using a special technology.

The designer reinterprets the brand’s DNA: transparent and structured models are combined with tweed and wool, and guipure mini dresses contrast with rust-brown denim. Bomber jackets with floral appliqués and asymmetrical skirts refer to grunge while maintaining elegant silhouettes. Innovations also touched upon wavy shapes, appearing in flounces made of dense materials.
The new collection is mostly in black, but contains hot flashes of red and carmine, as well as cobalt and linen shades. Nude taupe items became a delicate addition, and the brand’s iconic classic sheer dresses and blouses are made in an updated shade of chocolate.
“I felt so sincerely inspired by the warmth of Ms. Valentina, through the gloom that shrouds our present, I remembered my first sewing machine, the Chaika, which I was allowed to sew on as a child and my grandmother Anya, who passed on all the skills to me. We have a lot to learn from the older generation. Everything is a big circle of memory, tradition, and their reproduction. Because Life goes on as long as we continue to create,” says Nadia Dziak.

About the brand
NADYA DZYAK is a Ukrainian clothing brand founded in 2008 in Dnipro, known for its combination of architectural forms with feminine aesthetics, as well as its transparent elements that have brought the brand international fame and recognition.
Each collection by NADYA DZYAK has its own unique features, but all of them are united by the brand’s commitment to pleated details, translucent fabrics and layered decors.
Traditionally, the brand pays special attention to the skillfulness of the hand-patterning technique of pleated details and flounces that reflect its DNA.
The main design element of the brand’s sophisticated iconic products is the skillful use of translucent fabrics that create optical illusions and the effect of weightlessness.
The brand has been working with pleated fabric for many years, which is produced at a factory in Kharkiv, without stopping the process despite regular shelling of the city by Russians.
