Ukrenergo CEO Volodymyr Kudrytskyi may be dismissed in the near future. This was is reported by “Ekonomichna Pravda, citing its own sources, reports Komersant ukrainskyi.
The editorial board cites its informed sources in the Cabinet of Ministers and one of the energy companies. According to one of them, Kudrytskyi’s dismissal was discussed at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on 30 August.
“They talked about eliminating the consequences of the latest Russian attack and building defence structures. Kudrytskyi is accused of improperly implementing previous decisions of the Management Board and poor protection of Ukrenergo’s facilities,” the source said.

The media outlet said that at a meeting of the Board on 30 August, Volodymyr Zelenskyy insisted that the current head of Ukrenergo write a letter of resignation. The reason is the unfinished protective structures at Ukrenergo’s facilities, which led to power outages on Monday, 26 August (when the Russian Armed Forces attacked Ukraine with missiles and roads – ed.)
Kudrytskyi refused to write such a statement. Now the issue of his dismissal will be considered by the supervisory board of Ukrenergo.
