“On the night of April 28, 2025, Epicenter experienced a technical failure that affected the operation of the retail chain. The online store epicentrk.ua continues to operate and accept orders,” the company said in a statement.
Epicenter noted that there may be delays in the delivery of orders to customers.
“The company is taking all the necessary measures to restore the shopping centers’ operations as soon as possible,” the company summarized.
The probable cause is a large-scale hacker attack. Employees of the chain reported it to local media.
According to them, all servers were affected.
As a reminder, in March, Ukrzaliznytsia suffered the largest cyberattack in its history, but in 89 hours a team of railroaders, the SBU Cyber Department, CERT-UA at the State Special Communications Service and partners restored the basic functionality of online services.
