General Staff: russia is most actively advancing on two fronts

141 combat engagements were recorded on the frontline yesterday. The enemy was most active in the Pokrovske and Kurakhove directions. This is reported by Komersant ukrainskyi with reference to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, yesterday the occupiers launched seven missile attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements using eight missiles, as well as 86 air strikes, dropping 109 UAVs. In addition, the enemy fired more than 4,500 times, including 131 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems.
The Russian army carried out air strikes in the vicinity of populated areas, including Andriivka, Obody, Katerynivka, Yastrubyne, Pavlivka and Volfyn in Sumy region; Vovchansk and Kozacha Lopan in Kharkiv region; Torske, Kostiantynivka, Druzhba, Druzhkivka, Toretsk, Kramatorsk, Katerynivka, Velyka Novosilka, Zolota Niva, Rozdolne and Tsukurine in Donetsk region; Novodarivka, Shcherbaki, Kamianske and Poltavka in Zaporizhzhia region; and Olgivka in Kherson region.
Situation at the frontline
Six combat engagements took place inthe Kharkiv sector . Defence forces repelled Russian army assaults near Vovchansk and Starytsia.
Inthe Kupyansk sector, 12 firefights took place near Kucherivka, Novoosynove, Kruglyakivka, Vyshneve, Sinkivka and Stelmakhivka.
According to the updated information, the enemy attacked 18 times near Druzhelyubivka, Nevske, Novosadove, Zarichne, Torske, Hrekivka, Hryhorivka and Dibrova in the Liman sector.
Ukrainian defenders repelled one Russian attempt to push them back near Bilohorivka in the Siversky sector.
Nine combat engagements took place in the vicinity of Stupochky, Chasovyi Yar and Bila Hora in the Kramatorsk sector over the last day.
With the support of attack and bomber aircraft in the Toretsk sector, Russians attacked 17 times near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.
Inthe Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 21 enemy assaults in the areas of Myrnohrad, Lysivka, Novotroitske, Promin and Petrivka. The highest concentration of attacks was near Krutyi Yar and Selidove.
The Kurakhove sector was attacked 18 times yesterday near the localities of Novoselydivka, Hirnyk, Tsukurine, Sharp, Heorhiivka, Zhelanne Druhe, Oleksandrivka and Kostiantynivka.
Defence forces repelled five Russian assaults near Bohoyavlenka, Yasna Polyana and Zolota Niva in the Vremivsk sector.
Russian troops were defeated six times when attacking defensive lines in the Prydniprovskyi sector.
The situation inthe Huliaypillia sector remained unchanged. In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the Russians maintain a military presence, conducting mortar and artillery shelling of settlements from their territory.
Enemy losses
Yesterday, the aviation and missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces conducted 6 strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel and weapons, and also destroyed a command post, an air defence system, a piece of special equipment and two artillery systems.
Over the past day, the total losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1160 people. Our troops also neutralised 14 tanks, 31 armoured vehicles, 64 artillery systems, seven multiple launch rocket systems, two air defence systems, 65 tactical UAVs, two cruise missiles, 96 vehicles and a piece of special equipment.
