The French will finally be able to appreciate Lviv’s specialty cherries

The Ukrainian chain P’yana Vyshnia is opening its first establishment in France. This was reported by the Ukrainian Council of Shopping Centers with reference to the chain’s press service, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

The new establishment will open on May 10 in the center of the tourist district of Bordeaux.

“This city, famous for its wines and gastronomic culture, attracts tourists from the UK, USA, Spain and other countries. The city is famous for its cozy bars and authentic establishments, which perfectly matches the concept of Drunken Cherry,” the company explained.

France will become the tenth country where the Ukrainian chain operates. Drunken Cherry already has locations in the UK, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Moldova.

What we know about the “drunken network”

“P’yana Vyshnia is part of the Lviv restaurant holding !FEST, which was founded by three entrepreneurs – Yuriy Nazaruk, Andriy Khudo and Dmytro Gerasimov. The first restaurant appeared in Lviv on Rynok Square in 2015. Currently, P’yana Vyshnia has more than 60 locations in Ukraine and abroad.

As reported by Kommersant Ukrainian, a Bessarabian restaurant Tatar Bunar by Ukrainian businessman Alex Cooper has recently opened in London.

Another restaurant will open in the British capital in May. Its name is Sino. It will represent a modern take on Ukrainian food.

A few days ago, the Ukrainian company Lviv Croissants opened its first restaurant in Asia. The branded croissants are already offered in the business district of the South Korean capital. In February, Lviv Croissants opened in Cannes, France.
