State Audit Service uncovers financial violations worth UAH 6 billion in 2025

Since the beginning of 2025, the State Audit Service of Ukraine (the State Audit Service) has been actively working to detect financial misuse of public resources, demonstrating significant results in cooperation with law enforcement agencies. In the first quarter of 2025, thanks to the participation of the Service’s specialists in pre-trial investigations, financial violations worth more than UAH 6 billion were documented. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the State Audit Service.
To ensure the inevitability of punishment for those guilty of financial fraud, the State Audit Service has established close cooperation with investigators and law enforcement agencies. In particular, in January-March 2025, the Service:
- Transferred 232 materials of state financial control measures to law enforcement agencies.
- Sent 306 information reports on the results of inspections.
- Provided 272 conclusions in the framework of pre-trial investigations of criminal proceedings.
Such systematic work allows not only to detect violations but also to create conditions for bringing the perpetrators to justice.
Cooperation with law enforcement agencies has brought tangible results. In the first quarter of 2025, the State Audit Service specialists documented financial violations of the law totaling more than UAH 6 billion.
These violations relate to misuse of state material resources that could have caused significant damage to the state budget.
