Emergency power outages introduced in Ukraine due to Russian attack
28 November 08:33On the morning of November 28, emergency blackouts were introduced in Ukraine. This is a forced measure related to another Russian missile attack. This was announced by the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Galushchenko on Facebook, Komersant ukrainskyi reports
It should be noted that initially it was reported that there were power outages in Kyiv and Kirovohrad region.
Galushchenko said that the Ukrainian energy sector is again under massive attack. Therefore, emergency blackouts have been introduced throughout Ukraine.
“Attacks on energy facilities are taking place all over Ukraine. The transmission system operator NPC Ukrenergo has urgently introduced emergency power outages. As soon as the security situation allows, the consequences will be clarified. Follow the official announcements and stay in shelters,” he wrote.
Ukrenergo also confirmed the blackouts, posting the following photo.
“Attention! In connection with the announcement of an air alert, emergency blackouts have been introduced,” the statement reads.
As you know, the previously drawn up schedules are not valid for the period of emergency outages.
It should be noted that the enemy has been attacking different regions with missiles since early morning. The Russians launched three missiles at Kharkiv.
