Due to the bad weather in Poland, the Czech Republic and Austria, Ukrzaliznytsia has changed train services. In particular, the Vienna – Kyiv – Vienna and Prague – Przemysl – Prague trains have been changed. This was reported by Komersant ukrainskyi with reference to Ukrzaliznytsia.
The Vienna-Kyiv-Vienna flight is now running as Budapest-Kyiv-Budapest.
It is noted that the peak of bad weather is expected in Austria today, so the resumption of traffic will not be quick, and stations and subways will be partially closed tomorrow.
“Passengers with tickets to Vienna are asked to contact the information and service point for free accommodation and meals for the period of bad weather,” Ukrzaliznytsia said.
The Chop – Vienna flight with Hungarian Intercity cars is also limited to Budapest.
Prague-Premysl-Prague flights have been cancelled.
The flight Prague – Chop is being detoured and will arrive in Chop 2 hours ahead of schedule. From Chop – on schedule.
At the same time, Ukrzaliznytsia emphasises that trains between Ukraine and Warsaw, Przemysl, Chełm, Kosice, Budapest, and Záhony are running as usual today.
As a reminder, a number of flights have been temporarily cancelled due to flooding in Poland and the Czech Republic . This also applies to trains heading to Ukraine.
