ChatGPT is now available on WhatsApp

OpenAI has introduced new features for its popular ChatGPT chatbot. Now it will be available in WhatsApp messenger and will be able to receive calls from mobile phones, although this feature is currently available only in the United States. This was reported by Komersant ukrainskyi with reference to Mezha.Media.
Thus, OpenAI reported that ChatGPT has received its own mobile number: 1 (800) 242-8478 or 1 (800) CHAT-GPT. Users will be able to add this number to their contacts and start text communication with the chatbot in WhatsApp.
The global version of ChatGPT in WhatsApp will have certain restrictions. In particular, users will only be able to use text communication. Such features as voice mode, image and video recognition are not available in this version.
No additional authorization is required to use ChatGPT in WhatsApp. At the same time, OpenAI is working on implementing a new system that will allow users to be identified.
This innovation should make interaction with ChatGPT more convenient for users around the world, although the functionality of voice and multimedia capabilities is still limited.
For American users, OpenAI also offered the possibility to make calls to ChatGPT. This option works on both modern smartphones and older cell phones. Calls will be free, but will last only up to 15 minutes.
