“Combat” tips from monobank: instructions on how to connect

Monobank has a new feature called “combat”. This will allow you to donate to the Armed Forces when visiting cafes and restaurants. This was announced by the co-founder of the bank, Oleg Gorokhovsky, according to 
According to Oleg Gorokhovsky, Ukrainians leave more than UAH 100 million in tips every month as a sign of gratitude in cafes and restaurants. In return, people would not be able to visit cafes and restaurants if it were not for the Armed Forces.
“That’s why we came up with Bojovi. It’s like a tip, but a tip is gratitude for the service, and Bojovi is gratitude for life,”
– explains the co-founder of monobank.
The bank emphasises:
“If it were not for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the tables in restaurants would always be empty. And there would probably be no more tables. Remember this with every cup of coffee. And leave not only a tip for those who made it for us, but also a “war” tip for those who make this coffee possible.”
So from now on, when paying a bill using a QR code in establishments that activate the bank’s new service, a new screen will appear after the tip screen – “Fighters” – where visitors can thank them for their protection.
The money will be used for the direct needs of the army.
In addition, each establishment can add its own bank, and then the “combat” money will be sent to the units or military that this particular business helps.
How to activate “combat” tips from Monobank
To activate the “combat” tip, you need to connect your establishment to the expirenza by mono service by applying via this link.
Expirenza by mono is a QR code creation tool for restaurants and cafes that allows visitors to view the menu, make payments and leave tips without the waiter’s involvement. The service is charged at a rate of 1.3% of the bill amount when paying with a card from domestic banks and 2% for foreign banks.
Whenfilling out the application, you must specify the name of the establishment, its location, social networks, type of service, POS system, the source where you learned about the service, and leave your full name, contact phone number and email address for communication.
After that, Monobank’s expirenza manager will connect your establishment to the service and provide access to your personal account.
