“Boryspil without flights, but not without salaries: how its CEO lives

Oleksiy Dubrevsky, who holds the position of CEO of Boryspil International Airport, declared a salary of UAH 2.268 million for 2024. This is evidenced by his declaration, according to Komersant ukrainskyi.

In previous years, his declared salary amounted to UAH 3.788 million in 2023 and UAH 4.06 million in 2022. Thus, Dubrevsky’s total income in the form of salary as the head of Boryspil Airport for the period from 2022 to 2024 amounted to UAH 10.1 million. At the same time, the airport was closed to civil aviation.

The official’s wealth

Dubrevskyi also owns significant property and financial assets. He is a co-owner of three apartments in Donetsk. One of them with an area of 47.8 square meters is jointly owned with his wife (the value at the date of purchase was UAH 65,550), the second one with an area of 43 square meters is jointly owned in part (33.3%, worth UAH 4,592), and the third one with an area of 32.1 square meters is also jointly owned with his wife (UAH 7,556). In addition, Dubrevskyi rents a 298.7 sq.m. residential building in the village of Vyshenky, Boryspil district, Kyiv region, and uses an adjacent 960 sq.m. land plot.

As for vehicles, the declaration lists two cars: A 2016 BMW 320I purchased in 2020 for UAH 167,015 and a 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLS 350 purchased in 2021 for UAH 980,000.

Dubrevsky’s financial assets include cash in the amount of USD 65,000 and EUR 10,000. In addition, he has bank accounts with PrivatBank with a balance of UAH 10,443 and with Ukrgasbank with a balance of UAH 712,600. In total, in addition to his salary, Dubrevskyi also received small additional income in 2024: bank interest (UAH 16), insurance payments (UAH 16,532), reimbursement of excessive business trip expenses (UAH 260), and employer’s expenses for professional development (UAH 1,099).

Dubrevskyi has been managing Boryspil Airport since July 2021. Prior to that, he temporarily acted as the head of Zaporizhzhia International Airport. His professional experience also includes working for the German airline Lufthansa and at the airports of Donetsk and Ras Al Khaimah (United Arab Emirates).
