Boris Johnson took a selfie in a T-shirt of a Ukrainian brand

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson posted a photo of himself wearing a T-shirt by the Ukrainian brand Damirli with the inscription “Battle for Light.” The politician shared the post on the social network X, Komersant ukrainskyiKomersant Ukrainian reports

“1001 days into this war, and the main struggle remains unchanged. It is a struggle between the great Ukrainian ideals of freedom, democracy and independence on the one hand, and Vladimir Putin’s brutal and criminal aggression on the other. I am proud to wear this T-shirt, made in Kyiv. Glory to Ukraine,” Johnson wrote.

In the photo, the former British Prime Minister posed in a T-shirt from the Ukrainian menswear brand Damirli. Among its founders is designer Elvira Hasanova.

The “Battle for Light” clothing collection was developed by Damirli to support power engineers, air defense forces and rescuers of the State Emergency Service who protect and restore energy infrastructure and return light to people after shelling.

Johnson posted a selfie wearing a T-shirt depicting air defense, rescue and power engineers.

The price of the T-shirt is 20 euros.

All profits from the sale of Damirli’s “Battle for Light” clothing are donated to the needs of the Come Back Alive Foundation.

The T-shirts are also merchandise for the movie Battle for Light, which was released on November 17.
