Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers will be able to transfer to other military units through “Army”

The Cabinet of Ministers has simplified the procedure for transferring between military units in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Starting from November 15, servicemen will be able to submit a transfer request in the Army mobile application. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Komersant ukrainskyi reports
“This concerns transfers initiated by soldiers. The mechanism was developed in cooperation with civil society, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We agreed on this at a meeting with civil society in October,” the president said.
According to the Head of State, in order to transfer a serviceman, he has to submit a report in the Army app, which is checked within 72 hours. After verification, the soldier receives a response, and in case of refusal, the reason must be stated.
“The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine should monitor the effectiveness of the approved mechanism. The technical readiness for the launch is November 15,” Zelensky said.
The day before, a survey was conducted in the Army app on the problem of transferring to other places of service. The main questions were about current service status, responsibilities, military experience, and reasons for wanting to change units. At that time, the Ministry of Defense announced the simplification of this procedure for the Armed Forces.
