Biden also said that he had received and accepted an invitation from CNN for a debate on 27 June.

“Your move, Donald. As you said: anywhere, anytime, anywhere,”

US elections

The US presidential election will be held on 5 November 2024. This will be the 60th presidential election in America.

By 6 January 2025, the votes should be officially counted in Congress, and on 20 January 2025, the president-elect will be inaugurated.

So far, it looks like the main competitors, as in 2020, are Joe Biden and Donald Trump. Unless, of course, Trump is banned from running.

There will also be elections to both houses of Congress: The House of Representatives and a third of the Senate.
