Russian attack on Kyiv: 9 dead, over 70 injured

The Russians attacked the capital with cruise missiles and ballistic missiles. Explosions were heard in four districts.

“According to preliminary data, 9 people were killed, more than 70 were injured, 42 were hospitalized, including 6 children,” the statement said.

Emergency officials informed that residential buildings were destroyed, and the search for people under the rubble is ongoing.

The SES said that the fires started in garages, administrative buildings and non-residential buildings. Cars and dry grass also burned as a result of the debris. However, firefighters eliminated the fire.

As of now, the liquidation of the consequences of the summer shelling continues in 5 districts of the capital.

“Psychologists and cynologists of the State Emergency Service are working,” the statement said.

In Svyatoshynskyi district, residential buildings were destroyed: people are being searched for under the rubble. Fires broke out in garages, administrative buildings, and non-residential buildings. Cars and dry grass were burning due to falling debris. Firefighters extinguished the fires.

As of 7 a.m., the consequences of the night shelling are being eliminated in 5 districts of the capital. Psychologists and cynologists of the State Emergency Service are working. According to Klitschko, a three-year-old child was hospitalized in Sviatoshynskyi district.

Cars were burning in Holosiivskyi district, non-residential buildings were on fire in Shevchenkivskyi district, and there were also fires in non-residential buildings and destruction in Podilskyi district.

According to Mykola Kalashnyk, the head of the KOVA, Russia also attacked Kyiv region. Thus, a five-story residential building was damaged in Bucha district as a result of a Russian strike. A store was on fire. There were no reports of civilian casualties. A fire broke out in the forest in Vyshgorod district, and a grass fire in Brovary district.
