The Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) has announced competitions for the position of manager and appraiser of former MP Viktor Medvedchuk’s summer residence in the Carpathians. This was announced by the head of the ARMA, Olena Duma, Komersant ukrainskyi reports
It is a residential complex “Bear Grove” owned by Viktor Medvedchuk, located in the Carpathian tract “Parazhyn” of the Zhdeniyivka community of the Mukachevo district of the Transcarpathian region.
The complex consists of five land plots and seven real estate objects, including a sports and recreation complex, four buildings, a residential building and an outbuilding.
The assets also include movable property, including two electric cars, a tractor, as well as kitchen and sanitary equipment and furniture.
“Anyone who meets the qualification criteria, except for representatives of the aggressor state, can take part in the competition. After an independent assessment and the selection of the manager, this asset will start working for the benefit of the state, ensuring the flow of funds to the State Budget of Ukraine through the management of the traitor’s seized property,” she said.
Medvedchuk’s arrest
On 12 April 2022, Medvedchuk himself was arrested as a result of a special SBU operation. He is a defendant in several criminal cases of treason and economic crimes.
on 21 September, Viktor Medvedchuk was exchanged for Ukrainian soldiers held by Russia. As a result, 215 Ukrainian defenders were returned from captivity.
