Anonymous donates $1 million for demining in Ukraine

An anonymous donor has made a $1 million contribution to demining in Ukraine through the UNITED24 platform. This is stated in a message from UNITED24 on Telegram, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
UNITED24 emphasized that this contribution will help clear Ukrainian lands of deadly mines and shells and save lives.
“Every meter cleared of mines means children who can go back to school. These are people who can safely relax in the park. This is a community that is returning to life after de-occupation. Thank you for your support of Ukraine and for your actions that speak louder than names,” UNITED24 emphasized.
The United24 fundraising platform raised UAH 1,116,784,299 in charitable contributions in March. People from different countries send money to support Ukraine.
Most of the money last month came from the United States – 64.2%.
United24 is a global initiative to support Ukraine, launched on May 5, 2022 by the Ukrainian government, which united the world around the support of our country.
The funds raised are transferred to the accounts of the National Bank of Ukraine and assigned to the relevant ministries.
