20 injured: a bus with Ukrainians overturned in Poland

A bus from Ukraine was involved in an accident in Poland. It is known that 20 people were injured in the accident. This was reported by with reference to TVP.INFO.
The incident occurred at approximately 4 am on 27 January 2024 near Hrubieszów in the Lubelskie Voivodeship, near the border with Ukraine. The bus, which was travelling from Odesa to Warsaw, was carrying about 60 people.
According to reports, the bus went out of control at a curve and flipped over on its side.


Currently, 20 passengers are in hospitals in Tomaszów Lubelski, Hrubieszów and Zamość.
Krzysztof Tomasiak, a representative of the provincial office of the State Fire Service, said that the lives of the victims were not in danger.
Other passengers have been sheltered in a local school in Dolgobychów, where they are being provided with the necessary support while alternative transport is being organised.
Emergency services are working at the scene to establish the details of the accident.
