Syrsky emphasized that this is a battle “for the future of Ukraine and each of us.”

“For 1000 days, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been confronting the enemy on the frontline, which stretches over 1000 kilometers. In the frozen trenches of Donetsk region and in the burning steppes of Kherson region under shells, hail, and anti-aircraft guns, we are fighting for the right to life. Ours and our children’s,” he wrote.

Syrsky emphasized that these are 1000 days of victories and losses, 1000 days of destruction of the enemy.

“Hundreds of thousands of occupants will no longer desecrate our land, tens of thousands of enemy vehicles will never destroy our homes,” he said.

The Armed Forces chief emphasized that “every dark night, even if there are a thousand of them, always ends in dawn,” and that “one day it will be the dawn of our Victory.”

Syrsky thanked everyone who is fighting and who is helping.

“Eternal memory to everyone who died in this war,” the Armed Forces chief added.
