“Yaremchuk: An Incomparable World of Beauty is a Ukrainian documentary directed by Artem Hryhorian and produced by Maria Yaremchuk and Maksym Serdyuk, which tells the story of the first Ukrainian pop star Nazariy Yaremchuk.
Winning the Song-71 competition with Chervona Ruta, the death of Volodymyr Ivasyuk, touring different continents, performing in Chernobyl – through the memories of his family, personal diaries and exclusive chronicles, the film tells the story of his life and the path to international fame.
The film premiered on 23 June 2024 at the Mykolaichuk OPEN Film Festival in Chernivtsi, where Yaremchuk: The Incomparable World of Beauty was the closing film. The film was released in Ukraine on 8 August 2024.
The film was initiated by Nazariy’s daughter Maria Yaremchuk. In the summer of 2021, the singer shared this idea with the tandem of producer Maksym Serdyuk and director Artem Hryhorian.
Since then, they have been actively working on collecting information, studying archives, searching for characters and working on the script. The filming of interviews began in September of the same year, and the on-location shooting in the Carpathians took place in the spring of 2022.

It was prompted by the fact that the eyewitnesses and creators of the foundations of the Ukrainian-language pop and variety scene are not eternal, no matter how it may sound… We need to know our heroes by sight, and now it is starting to become mainstream, which is very cool,” says Yaremchuk.
